By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Description of Services
WP Mantis provides professional WordPress management, maintenance, and support services, including:
- Website monitoring, updates, and backups
- Malware and hack recovery
- Emergency one-time fixes
- Ongoing support and care plans
- Site optimization, troubleshooting, and related consulting
Our Services are available only for single-site WordPress installations. Multisite environments may be supported upon review and approval.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time without notice.
2. Payment & Billing
2.1 General Terms
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. WP Mantis does not store or have access to your full payment information.
By ordering a service, you authorize WP Mantis to charge your selected payment method for the agreed amount, including applicable taxes.
You are responsible for providing a valid payment method and keeping it current.
2.2 One-Time Services (e.g., One-Time Fix, Hack Recovery)
Payment is collected in full at the time of purchase.
- For the One-Time Fix, we offer a 100% refund if we are unable to resolve your issue.
- For Hack Recovery services, recovery success depends on the extent and severity of the damage. Refunds are not guaranteed, but may be offered at our discretion if restoration is determined to be technically impossible.
2.3 Subscription Plans (e.g., Maintain, Complete, Advanced)
Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance. Once your plan has been activated and onboarding has begun, payments are non-refundable.
You may cancel at any time before the next billing cycle. Cancellation ends future billing but does not result in a partial refund of the current period.
3. Account Access & Security Credentials
To provide our Services, we may require temporary administrative access to your WordPress website, hosting account, or related systems.
You agree to:
- Provide the required credentials securely (via our encrypted form or password manager).
- Allow WP Mantis to use these credentials strictly for performing contracted Services.
- Update or revoke access once services are completed if desired.
We handle all credentials with confidentiality and care. However, we are not responsible for loss or damage arising from the compromise of access credentials that occur outside our control (e.g., user mishandling, third-party breaches).
4. Service Limitations
WP Mantis provides support exclusively for WordPress-based websites and compatible plugins or themes.
Our ongoing maintenance and support plans focus on stability, updates, security, and performance. They do not include:
- Full website redesigns or new site builds
- Custom plugin or theme development
- Search engine optimization (SEO), digital marketing, or advertising management
- Extensive third-party integrations outside the WordPress ecosystem
- Complex migrations or multi-site management (unless otherwise agreed)
These services are not included in any ongoing support plan but may be provided through our hourly custom service options upon request. Custom work will be quoted separately and billed at the current hourly rate.
WP Mantis reserves the right to determine whether a request falls within your plan’s included scope or requires a separate service agreement.
5. Refunds & Service Credits
- One-Time Fix: 100% refund if we cannot complete the requested repair.
- Hack Recovery: Refunds are discretionary and dependent on damage severity.
- Ongoing Support Plans: Non-refundable once onboarding begins.
- Billing Errors: If an error occurs (e.g., duplicate charge), contact us within 7 days for review.
Refunds, if approved, are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.
6. Customer Responsibilities
By using our Services, you agree to:
- Maintain a secure hosting environment with an active SSL certificate.
- Keep your website compliant with WordPress system requirements.
- Notify WP Mantis promptly of changes to hosting, domain, or administrator access that may impact service delivery.
- Provide timely responses to communication requests for troubleshooting.
Failure to cooperate may delay resolution or affect service outcomes.
7. Privacy & Data Security
We take your privacy seriously. Sensitive data such as login credentials and payment details are collected only through secure, encrypted channels.
Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe, which adheres to PCI DSS security standards.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- WP Mantis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, revenue, or data.
- Our total liability under any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the service in question.
- Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of uninterrupted operation.
We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party hosting providers, plugin authors, or external systems.
9. Termination & Cancellation
You may cancel any ongoing subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting us directly.
WP Mantis reserves the right to terminate service if:
- You violate these Terms;
- Non-payment occurs; or
- Your actions create unreasonable risk or abuse of service.
Upon termination, we will securely remove all stored credentials and service data.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in law or business operations.
When significant changes occur, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may notify active clients via email.
Continued use of our Services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Service Level Commitments
WP Mantis provides proactive monitoring and support on a best-effort basis, with the following general response targets:
- Support Requests: Initial response within 1 business hour for urgent issues and within 24 hours for standard requests.
- Resolution Goal: Most issues are resolved within 24–48 hours, depending on complexity and client cooperation.
- Uptime Monitoring: We actively monitor uptime 24/7 and respond to alerts as soon as possible.
While WP Mantis strives to meet or exceed these targets, they are not guaranteed service levels and do not constitute a formal SLA.
